CAMDEN

Tuesday 26th August saw me head off to Camden Town with the family for a day out.It was a wet day but the weather did dry up for some long spells and by the afternoon it wasn't too bad at all. Camden High St and Camden market was busy but thankfully not as busy as a Saturday when it really is difficult to move around.

Famous Camden Lock Bridge

The whole area is a wash with fashion stalls, street food, urban art and so much more. You don't need to spend any money at all, it's fascinating just people watching and just taking the whole Camden vibe in.

A busy few hours in Camden and it was time to catch the tube and do a little more exploring. My youngest daughter wanted some vintage shops so off we went.

PARIS TRIP DAY 1

Air France 1165 at Birmingham Airport.

August 9th and the time had come for our trip to Paris. We were all (my wife and two daughters) looking forward to our short break to Paris for many different reasons, time together, break from everyday life, shopping, sight-seeing oh the list went on. For me this was my first opportunity to use my new camera abroad and hopefully catch a glimpse of some street art.

Above the Warwickshire countryside on take off.
I really do love travelling, but absolutely hate aeroplanes when they're taking off and flying in general. This was only a short flight so no time to relax sipping Scotch at 35,000ft.

Only a model?
And once in Paris with the hotel sorted it was off for a walk and the first thing we saw was the Eiffel Tower.  I was compelled to do the obligatory mini monument photograph.

A Bride and Groom

Another happy couple.

There were so many Brides and Grooms all around the Eiffel Tower having their pictures taken, whether they were just married or packed their wedding dress and tuxedo's for an added money shot to the wedding album was anyone's guess, but at least some of them looked happy.

Invader Invader profile
Whilst happily clicking away at the Eiffel Tower my eldest daughter points me in the direction of some Invader Street Art. I was overjoyed by this apparent discovery, Invader Invader Invader I bellowed. Well it was my first actual piece I'd seen in real life so to speak.

Time for some Street food.

And a well earned Beer.

Well it's been a hectic 15 hours and with the day drawing to a close and night time beckoning what better way to see some Parisian sights than by a a River cruise along the Seine. We found the Batobus ticket booth and purchased the 2 day pass as it was only an extra 2 euro's per adult (Bargain) over and above the 1 day pass. Tickets sorted we relaxed for the next couple of hours and enjoyed the scenery.

An Introduction to Me.

Myself & My youngest daughter enjoying a Coffee in Paris.
My name is Adam and I like travelling (don't we all). I also love photography and this is where I shall be sharing my passion for Street Photography, Street Art and most likely Coffee and Food. I'm no professional but a very keen amateur. I hope you enjoy my very small contribution to the creative world.
